Alberta Cup 5&6/Haywood Western Championships

News • January 18, 2015 • Written by: skierg96

It was another great weekend of skiing for the University of Alberta Nordic Academy, with many of the skiers pulling off incredible results, mixing their own talent amongst all the other talent surrounding them. Saturday, January 17th, set the scene for the freestyle 1300m sprints, with a course that took its toll from every racer that attempted to champion it. There was not much time for rest though, as the following day the organizers had racers competing in gruelling 20&15km freestyle events for the men and women respectively, where the verb of the day was “Climb”. In the end it was a great weekend of fun and hard work for the whole team. For more detailed results, visit http://www.zone4.ca. Happy Skiing and God speed!
